Complexe Systémique cares deeply about protecting your personal data. This policy explains which data we process, why, who we share them with, how long we keep them and how to exercise your rights. It applies to all our services: the website, training courses, community spaces and the therapy space.
Complexe Systémique, 2 rue Coysevox, bureau 3, 69001 Lyon, France, is the controller of the data of its customers, members and website visitors. For health data in the therapy space, the roles are different: they are set out in the “Health data” section.
Your data are available only to the people at Complexe Systémique who need them and to our service providers, who act on our instructions: hosting, payment, invoicing, sending emails and the newsletter, site search, enrolment forms and video calls. They may also be passed to a funding body when you apply for funding, or to the authorities when the law requires it. What you make public, such as your profile or comments, is visible to other users. We never sell your data.
Some providers may process data outside the European Union. Such transfers are then covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
The website uses the cookies it needs to work: sign-in, cart, preferences. Audience measurement cookies and those of third-party content, such as embedded videos, are only set with your consent, which you can change at any time from the site’s cookie manager.
Your account data are kept for as long as your account is active. Invoices and accounting records are kept for ten years, as the law requires, and sign-in and access logs for one year at most.
When you delete your account, your personal information is erased, and your public contributions are anonymised and remain visible without your name. We keep only what the law requires, along with a fingerprint of your email address, which cannot be turned back into it, to prevent misuse of our offers.
Access to your account is protected by measures suited to how sensitive the data it reaches are, including an extra check at sign-in where health data are concerned. Unusual sign-in attempts are recorded to help prevent intrusions. Should a data breach put you at risk, we would inform you as the law provides.
The therapy space lets therapists hold sessions with their patients. What is recorded there about patients is health data: the first name or nickname given when entering the room, the boards and the objects placed on them, notes, session dates, and the technical data the room and video calls need.
The therapist is the controller of these data. Complexe Systémique keeps them on the therapist’s behalf, as a processor, and uses them for no other purpose.
They are hosted in the European Union, by a host certified for health data, and kept encrypted. Our teams have no access to them, and access to them is logged. Video calls are never recorded: the provider that carries them receives neither the participants’ names nor the content of sessions. The therapy space contains no audience measurement or advertising service.
A follow-up’s data are kept for five years after its last session, then permanently erased. The therapist can download them at any time and erase them sooner.
If you are a patient, you can ask to access these data, to have them corrected or erased, or object to their hosting and processing. Send your request directly to your therapist, who is responsible for answering it.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to their processing. You can withdraw your consent at any time and set instructions for what happens to your data after your death. From your account, you can download your data and delete your account.
For any question or to exercise your rights, write to us at contact@complexe-systemique.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr.
Creating an account is reserved for people aged 15 or over. A therapist who works with a minor obtains the required consent themselves.
We may update this policy. If we make a significant change, we will let you know. Last updated: 16 October 2026.
